Leaves

wondrous colors seen
blurs around to dance in air
hope of life in death

blowing cool is felt
relief from days of swelter
cold is new dear friend

wing-ed flight in air
flying down to find new home
peace in winter's blast

quiet time in yard
silent coolness mends the heart
place to be restored
