Short Poem |
Slipping through the forest empty starry skies and eyes ablaze I will make my knowledge spoken laid upon the eyes that gaze There was a man who sailed the river he had lost the path to home he had brought a pact to give them Old ones sewn of flesh and bone The river swelled and begged to differ offering him helpful tones he had lost the voice of reason selling souls and deeds to thrones However did I come to seek you? How long have I been out here searching? How did I get so lost from home? The words crept out from hidden shadows pointed him to thickened thorns this man was built of buried envy and shrouded guilty tomes the forest bent and crept to stop him with whispered hopeful undertones This man was none to bargain he had brought a flint and stone he sang amongst the ancient dwellings while all around him forest burned and in three separate voices the man called out a plea come back to face the music step forth and set me free take back your force created reclaim the sheltered screams rule once as you'd intended bring mankind to it's knees |
