"Counting the years until tomorrow."

Counting the years
until tomorrow.
Trying to get through
all the pain and sorrow.
You're holding on
your rope.
It's starting to break.
But so is your heart,
which is also an ache.
Even though you know
it's all a lie.
You're way to strong
to say goodbye.
