Properties of the ocean

Undulating…..
Turquoise, crystalline, ethereal
Endless motion.
Rushing, ebbing eternally.
Salty kisses on shimmering sands
Racing to consummate its course,
Then, returning to embark again.
Saline silica in multiple hues,
Vying the sun’s sparkle.
Magnificent perfection!
Opulent treasures hidden in her depths;
Wealth untold.
Yet, a solemn bone yard,
Unyielding its populace.
Their monuments coral and shell.
Fickle, furious dervish, at times
Flailing ferocity at mankind.
Power unleashed,
Only to return to its peaceful temperament.
Undulating…..
Yet again.
