As old as the hills, but in constant need of review...

What happens in a person's life,
When general distrust turns to
Outright cynicism of your
Husband or wife?

And tho' you have great faith
In, and of yourself,
Yet allow those to be around you,
Who only desire such for wealth...

For men may be brutes, and
Women users, bitches or untrue.
But how can you label all such,
Like exhibits at a zoo?

And what of good men, and
Good women so called,
Do you think they are all fools, with their backs against a wall?

But you may never see,
True love that lasts,
If you don't overcome negative
Influences from the past...
