Meeting the Challenge Built on stone foundations Faith's stronghold Will stand firm when sandcastles fall When waves of frustrations Shout and scold Causing the ego to feel small. Faith is the soul's domain Goes beyond The realm of matter - death and life Partners spirit and brain It is spawned And strengthened when we confront strife. Faith the power within That gives us Inner strength to meet life's demands With a determined grin Without fuss Working hard with both minds and hands. Line Count: 18 Form: Tri-fall - created by Jan Turner. Has 3 stanzas with 6 lines each. It has a rhyme scheme of a,b,c,a,b,c and the meter of stanzas are 6/3/8, 6/3/8. It needs little or no punctuation and can use any subject matter. http://www.shadowpoetry.com/resources/wip/trifall.html About this poem: ▶︎ |
