Life is short
This we all know
We need to move forward
With a purpose and a goal
Simply passing the time
Seems like a good plan
But much more complicated
Is the existence of man
Our whole lives we spend trying
To always have fun
Not realizing that living in reality
Isn't always easily done
With trials and tribulations
Sometimes blocking the path
We get strung out or depressed
To wanting to drown ourselves in the bath
But no matter how bad life gets
Hope we need to dig down and find
And force our minds to remember
There will be happier times
Where things will go smoothly
And the sun will brightly shine
Everything and everyone
Will all be just fine
So in reading this
I hope you will see
It will get better
And we all will finally be free
