A poem about life and dreaming |
| I woke once in the middle of my dream The one with you, arms around me tightly Christening quiet as fog rolls off the sound And night fades off into the trees The awake of light piercing my comfort And whistle of light waking my soul I woke once in the night of my life Wishing you were there but you had gone Nothing to cling to but cling itself Stuck in the wrap of what I'd become I woke one day I wondered what happened I wondered where I had gone Where I was going Then I dreamed again I stayed right there Dare not even blink Dream sweet dream |
