A lucky coin in a old sock can bring a smile

Down by the fishing hole
I stood next to him
a hero to me
My grandfather showed me
to catch a fish
I was so proud
He carried around
a golden coin
for luck he said
And a worn out sock
that he carried it in
is what made him smile
I caught that fish
All because of that
an old golden coin
joy was mine
