The true beauty of roses |
| Let me live let me see let me love but also let me admire the beauty of the rose. The softness of the petals the sweetness of the scent the spiky thorns that rip the flesh, but add to the mystery of the rose. Let me walk through fields of roses let me see the beauty while I live. And when I die bury me under the ground and cover all surrounding earth with roses. For even in death they will seek the inner beauty of the one who lies beneath and in their turn become more' beautiful still like the one who gave them life. Let me live let me see let me love but also let me admire the beauty of the rose. Written by Zoe Rae 1999. I retain the copyright for this poem. thank you for reading it. |
