Silence

My first writing on here hope it's good enough.

I inhale filling my lungs with the cold air as I stand alone the frosty wind gently blowing past me. I look up to the sky to see the starry night sky above each star gently twinkling. There isn't a soul close by nor will there be for some time as I enjoy this time. I gently place my back on a large pine tree as it's long branches slightly obscure my sight of the sky above. I let out a sigh knowing I must leave soon from this place. I take one last look on the white unbroken snow in my winter wonderland before beginning to walk the snow crunching below my feet breaking the silence.
