The sands of time trudge on,
We know not where they lead,
Nor do we know why they lead in a certain direction over another,
All we can do is transverse this great desert called the universe,
Like a camel moving across the desert,
One step at a time,
resting when needed,
because slow and steady wins the race.

Remember time will always win,
The cruel sands of time will one day reclaim
That which we work so hard at building,
But have faith, because it all can be rebuilt,
Only for the cycle to begin again.
