I'm not sure what we had when we thought we had it but we didn't have anything. Or did we?

When did we stop?

Or were we ever together?
Did we try too hard
To be together?
Or separate people
But a couple
Except not really
Were you too aloof
Or was I too unaware
Of how our relationship,
If it was a relationship,
Of sorts
Or out of sorts
We were like ghosts
In a world unknown
With rules of
Of what?

We just stopped
One day we were
