A poem about sadness

Blue is the most honest color
To me blue is the best color
Because it is the only true color

Upon entering life, you are only guaranteed sadness
You are only guaranteed to lose things
You are guaranteed to fail
Nobody is ever guaranteed a green field
Nobody is ever guaranteed a yellow ray of sunshine
Nobody is ever guaranteed a rose of the prettiest red
No
The only thing we are guaranteed is a blue flag

Damned be the colors of happiness
Damned be the colors of love
Damned be the colors of hope
For all those colors can be erased
The only color that can't be erased
The only color that will never be completely gone
The only color that will never fail to appear
Is blue.
