I awoke, to something which I didn't expect

as if by magic I awoke and saw
the heart of humanity, right at my door
I looked with bated expression, I did, implore
explore, what for, I read the text
hidden in email, and was perplexed

the text from d. cleary
was heartily felt
and as I read my heart did melt
humanity, cruel, but d. cleary was not
the mail, I forgot, what was, was not

filled my heart with joy
to read such beauty
while windows booted
it was its duty

for time progressed, and included words impressed
and made me laugh, for it was no task
to see happy, within this world
that there are human beings, without purpose goals

and again a glimmer, starts to simmer.
