A poem on gratitude. In the spirit of Thanksgiving and Christmas. |
| Gratitude. It starts In the heart And spreads all around It’s what you feel inside When you know someone won’t let you down. There is always something that you can be thankful for, Such as when a dapper old gentleman kindly holds open your door To reveal a beautifully decorated Christmas tree, When you’ve been struggling to get by, in terms of money. It could be that tingly feeling you get on Christmas Day, Or just how glad you are to have a place to stay. It could be how happy you are to have a Thanksgiving feast, It could be that cuddly dog next door (what a cute little beast!) So as you gather around this Thanksgiving, give thanks, of course, Catch up with you family. And even if you don’t have a meal or someone to share it with, feel no remorse. For there is always something to be grateful for, And remember when God seems absent, He’ll open a door. |
