God loves you

A Christian poem for Lighthouse poetry contest

"God loves you" 

God loves you so much
He sent His Son to end Sun's touch
His Son who died in your place
Before you were part of the human race.

Sin is such an ugly stain
Yet none has to drown in its rain
Jesus died on the cross
So no soul should suffer loss.

Dying in sin is a choice
Won't you hear the Savior's voice
Obey His gospel today
There truly is no other way.

Jesus loves you don't you know
If not He would not have come below.
