A poem about sacrifice |
| When they look you up and down, And laugh behind your back, They have no idea the pain you're in, Never could, and that's a fact. When they cast your rights aside, Take everything you own, Remember it happens to all of us, You really aren't alone. Your kids you'll get to rarely see, The ex will take care of that, A stranger will have to raise them now, Fingers crossed he's not a twat. Remember, When you signed upon that dotted line, You agreed to give your life, I know we didn't think of this, But our mental health has paid the price. |
