TWO LOVERS

Two lovers
A bridge to cross
Will love be saved
Or love be lost

The way is hard
The bridge has gaps
No easy path
No secret map

Will their bond
Protect and cover
Or set them both
On one another

Can they cross
The water deep
Will love guide
And safely keep

Or will the journey
Prove too hard
The lovers end
As broken shards

No easy way
For love to last
Always something
To get past

Two lovers
Can they know
Will love die
Or will love grow
