Every night.
This black cat
crept up a wall.
Upwards, she stared
at the starry night.

Every night.
This very same cat
Stared upwards.

Her owner,
was a witch!
Oh my! People say
The witch's cat looks upwards.
Once more.

Unfortunately, for this very black cat
no-one went close.
Apart from the bat
-like owner.
She was very unlucky
An unlucky black cat

It was said,
Once there was a maid
who went near
and had no fear;
the unlucky black cat
would not hurt her tonight.

Was this true?
Because the maid,
who was referred to as;
Luck be a lady-
See, she was very lucky.
But, the very next day,
all her luck seemed to, to say
Disappeared.

So, the unlucky black cat
Was the cause of the maid’s
Unlucky death
The very next day.
