Writer's Cramp entry, lighthearted little poem about the fall season |
The crunch of leaves underfoot, a sign that fall is here Pumpkin spice, and apple cider, come but once a year Golden colors everywhere, crisp temperatures in the air Football games and bon fires, and hoodies now to wear Halloween and dressing up, corn mazes made for fun All around there are the signs, that summer time is done So dig out your jackets, the decorations and the rake Fall has come upon us, there's pumpkin pies to bake Enjoy it while it last, bet you'll wish that fall would stay Hate to have to tell you, only 91 days till Christmas Day 10 Lines |
