All throughout the zoo, there's animals of all kinds
Being watched by people, they don't seem to mind

I stand here at the elephants, in awe at what I see
One of them is standing there, looking right at me

I make the eye connection, feeling in a trance
Look into her eyes, and I see her spirit dance

She's happy where she is, knows there are no fears
She will have a great life here, living out her years

I see what she is saying, the message clear to me
Live your life happily, pay attention to what you see

Appreciate what you have, and learn as you go
Live life to the fullest, she wanted me to know

Today I learned a lesson, from an elephant, my friend
Follow all your hopes and dreams, to the very end
