Will it Ever Stop?

This poem is about a female struggling with being abused by her husband

I can't get away
I am chained to him, the chains hold me down like a 300bs weight
I try and run but I am fenced in
I can't escape from the grasp of his abuse
day by day his fists become heavier,
the bruises become darker,
and the harder it becomes to wake up each morning
Its like we a linked together
when I move he knows it, he watches me
every moment of every day
I can't escape
the beatings will never stop
