Wasting Time

Free verse. Not much here but exhausted babbling.

Wasting time.
Step back and look at myself through someone else's eyes.
"Why are you so strange, dear girl?"
"Why can't you be like everyone else?"
Funny, I consider this normal.
Eyes wide, mouth agape, blinded by the future.
Scream a silence meant for everyone's ears,
Fall back and watch myself tear this world apart.
