Daydream

just some words

I dream't I woke up
Made tea, had a cup.
Rally racing is on t.v.
Michael made breakfast,
And even left some for me.`

I stepped outside
Put glasses on, got high.
Talked to a friend and watched the river go by.

Now it's my day off, I got nowhere to go,
So I hopped in my car and I started to roll
And they were playing my favorite songs on the radio.

I rolled next to the lady with the LGT,
I shot a wink at her and she blew a kiss to me
When we pulled apart I heard her say she missed me.

But nothing's phasing me in this daydream.

I got the car washed. Some girl bought me a drink.
Not for a second were you a thought, I think.
There was no traffic, and no trouble in sight.
And everything seemed to turn green at the light.

When I got home, And I laid in my bed.
I don't think I had a bad thought in my head.
But then I woke up, and dealt with real life instead.
