Bittersweet regrets

My first attempt at writing. Revised because I regret the first version :-)

The specks of dirt suspended in ice.
The moments of time stuck in a vice.

Old memories froze, lost and stained.
Old moments relived only in vain.

Try to look away from the cold.
Try to accept failures of old.

Remember mistakes for future endeavors.
Remember you can't mourn the past forever.
