I wrote this on July 26, 2002 as well.This is the first time I've read this in years

Lead me away
Take me further
Away from the pain

I'm up against the world
Yet again today
lost and confused
sinking in fear

I'm drowning in the world
It's taking me in,
tearing me apart.
I'm about to quit.

I'm breaking down
I cant take much more
Need a break, need to get away

Need help from you, can you hear me?
I'm sinking slowly
Trying to hold out
Waiting for you
Lead me away
Be my shield

Take me away

***Little note, I honestly think this is a tad bit butchered, but I was also 16ish and I cannot tell you what was going through my head when I wrote this.***
