A lizard is seen

an every day occurrence...almost...

A lizard is seen...

A lizard is seen...all hell breaks loose...a shriek fills the air...you realize it's your better half...next you hear a command..."Yatin, hya paalila baaher ghalva nahitar kaahi jevan milnar nahi...lifting a big stick I enter the battle field, which is the kitchen...it is already empty of all the human denizens...I see a very healthy lizard high up on the wall...it's eyes on me...i gingerly try to just poke the lizard to move...in a flash it is at the other end of the wall...i am encouraged and bang the stick on the wall...then the unexpected happens...the lizard jumps suddenly to the floor...i make a quick withdrawal to the hall...the lizard is again the king of the kitchen....as I gather my courage to again enter its domain...my heart beats quickening and adrenaline flowing...I see it going behind the fridge...2 bangs of the stick near the fridge and suddenly I see it scooting towards the window...another blow on the floor and this time"STRIKE" ... the tail is shed and the lizard is out of the window...i let out a battle cry which sounds like the cry of Tarzan mixed with the cry of a hyena...all the family suddenly converges on the kitchen...there are high fives all around and I am honoured with 5 gun salute of the cooker in the kitchen...oh, what an adventure...that day I am fed all my favourite dishes and treated like an all conquering king...Does this happen at your house too...
