Flying Palette

Butterflies- physically beautiful creatures: a flying palette of many colours!

It's been an absolute age since checking in and writing anything!
Here I am with a piece of prose about our beautiful butterflies.

"Flying Palette"

I watch you quietly.
All I hear is a gentle fluttering of wings:
mildly frenzied in your actions.
Finally, you settle for a moment of respite;
a palette of colour, splashed, dashed and smudged all over!
Your background heightens those hues.
How beautiful you are.
A little fragile, delicate, you quickly take off again
looking for another resting place.
What pleasure you give to the watcher,
yet you don't even know!
A flying palette of brilliance;
pulchritudinous butterfly.
