Rhymes of Crimes

A collection of poems inspired by criminals and the criminal justice system. Sarcastic and satirical with undertones of disappointment and a hint of hope.

I do not take criminal activity or substance abuse or their contributing factors lightly. I don't find them amusing. But sometimes, in an attempt to make sense of something, we view it through a new lens or turn it on its head. Here, I try to come to grips with some of the things I see daily, in the style of Shel Silverstein. Ok, it's not so much in the style of as it is super heavily influenced by Shel Silverstein.
