We all have crosses to bear from birth to death, but there are unseen friends beside us. |
| We are all pilgrims on a much travelled road And each of us shoulders a varying load Some light as a feather, some heavy as stone But we do not carry our load all alone For there are wonderful souls who help us along God's servants who are sung of in many a song Our teachers, our guides, our angelic friends Who remain by our side until the day ends We are all pilgrims on a much travelled road And tho' we know it or not, in our hearts deepest abode We seek to blend with the greatest power of all Within our innermost soul we hear divinities' call And at some time in the future, sooner or later We will join with the spirit forces, closer to our Creator And perhaps too, in time, we can help carry the load Of one of those pilgrims on the much travelled road |
