A poem about a spirit person reaching out to their loved ones |
| I walk through the veil on a whispery breeze To be close to those that I hold dear So many times, I have spoken my thoughts But alas! They do not hear A gentle hand I have placed Upon a sad and grieving brow How can I tell them, let them know? Look! Here I am beside you now All my ills have flown from me My body cleansed and whole once more I have learned life's lessons, regained peace How I wish I could tell them so To let them know that I am safe And truly happy within the light That shines so brightly, never dims Where I dwell now, there is no night But, blind eyes will never see the truth Deaf ears will never hear Closed hearts' will never feel my presence Standing, oh, so very near So please, oh please, open your hearts And let me enter through So I can tell you about the joys to be found When through the veil you pass too |
