Sad Clown

I may look happy but I feel pretty crappy

On the outside I'm laughing, joking, smiling,
While inside I can think of only dying.

On the outside I tell joke that makes you laugh,
While inside I feel as helpless as a calf.

On the outside I'm happy, joyous, entertaining,
While inside my strength to hold on is quickly draining.

On the outside I'll wink and gave you a wave,
While inside I'm moving closer to my grave.

You love because I make you happy and fool around,
But on the inside I'm dying and I know... I'm just a sad clown.
