This is a short poem about a child going to school. |
| The youth of a modern age. Awakens to see a new day. To school he heads like the rest. To get a great grade on a test. Young children around the town. Head over to school; where they learn. The school was old; pupils learned from 1907 to now. Still many don't like it, to go home the students yearn. The cycle repeats every day. Except when there is a break. Or the scholar turns 18. But that is where the path to college is seen. |
