I went out on a dinner date
looking forward to a steak
instead they served me
some brown rice
a tofu burger
now that's not nice

My friend insisted,"This place is great"
I thought he meant they cooked great steaks
not meatless meatballs for heaven sakes

The next time we go out to eat
I insist it be my treat
I'll take him to a "Beef & Brew"
If he don't like that
I guess we're through
