Poem: Stacy's Birthday Message

My daughter Stacy talking to her Dad as if he were beside her.

Sixtieth birthday

only comes by today

Blow out your candles

for this is the traditional way

You have been overseas

and helped make the country safe

now take some time for you and your wife

and maybe I could tag along

if you would like

Dad when you were in the army you risk your life by serving your country. You had courage and bravery. You have earned your retirement. Now it is time to celebrate your 60th birthday and I pray God blesses you with many more birthdays to come. Your not getting older because wiser is young.
