| People are so devoted to faith because they are told to believe so. Owning no knowledge of the origin they solely praise a creator. Still, they choose to die for ideas formed many millennia ago by a man who gave his life for his teachings. Is that all it takes in the modern world? Form an idea, sacrifice your being for it and the weak will follow? Simplistic.....genius If I want to fly and I die trying, will the principle still apply? Will others follow me? There is no guarantee I will make it across these skies. My "people" know this But their reverence in my decisiveness keep their "wings" flapping. Do I try to fly to actually levitate or are my attempts aimed strictly to attain an aspect or degree of power? Great leaders will tread miles in the wrong direction and lose no one. It is those who waiver in faith in one-self that are questioned and "tried". |
