This is tongue-in-cheek Not everyone likes flowers - if you pick them!


Innocent coral -colored flora
with yellow stamen of little use
ruthlessly plucked,
broken at the stem -
by greedy hands
crushing delicate petals
that are left to wither and die
on a white tissue.
