story of the beginning of Holy week through the awakening

Are you going to the stadium?
Haven't you heard?
The one so many have talked about will be there.
Come with me and we will see.

Look, look there He is.
They brought Him in a wagon.
The people are showering the field with rose petals
and throwing gifts to Him.

This is how we honor our leader
not some lowly man whose greatness is not real.
Listen to their chanting,
"He's the one. He's the one."

We must go or be arrested.
And yet He has a presence
that radiates from Him.
Could he be, "The One?"

Is He here to bring us peace?
To bring this world to order?
We must go, so we'll be safe
And pray He is not a martyr.
