She Weeps

Young teen is depressed because she feels it is her fault her father has left the family

As her father walks away, she weeps
The agony of knowing it is her fault,
That she could've made him stay

But, no, she did not make him stay so, she weeps
She thinks she should have said something
It just might have made a difference

As she realizes that he is gone, she weeps
Maybe one day the pain will not be so immense
But, for now, she weeps
