Oh! How I loathe that old saying.
Words do hurt and sometimes even kill
If you’re not careful
I dislike when teachers and parents try to embed
This in our children
But why?
The world we live in is totally different from theirs
From back then

Nowadays there’s a mindless freak that sits behind
Their smart phone, which is actually pretty stupid,
And uses words, hurtful words, which hurt our children
But see now, its getting worst the words are turning
Into pictures, videos, text messages, and even phones calls

Stop using this mindless phrase
Because words do hurt and worse than that
Words are starting to kill
