Poem about memory loss

Now they tell me
That those docs
Have got a surprise planned

Those geniuses
Can fix it so
Bad memories will be banned

I’ll check it on
The Internet
Now what was my log on?

I’ll call my brother
Who’s a shrink
His number….Well, it’s gone!

I guess it’s good
That they can now
Make memories go away

I wonder if
The day will come
When they can make them stay!


I must suppose
This memory thing
Might turn the world around

But as for me
My memory loss
I’ve already got down
