Being alone in the snow |
| Against a coal black canvas, The snow falleth white. The curls of ebony hair Catch the winter's bite. The flurry of the snow And the gust of the wind Hide truth's evil glare Of a mind left to mend. Dark secrets are covered And regrets are neglected As the sinister silence With her soul is connected. The darkness is kindred, The silence is love. The snow fall is peaceful As a white graceful dove. For no one interrogates And no one assumes. Judgment is absent In the silence that looms. |
