There was one time in my life when I was happy

That was when I moved here from Mississippi

I met you and I fell in love at once

You were gorgeous and full of intelligence



You made the earth move under my feet

You made my whole life complete

I was so grateful to have you

You made my heart woo



Johnny I love you the world full and the sky full

No one can compare to you you’re so cool

You’re a diamond in its sparkling brilliance

You always give me great guidance



I hope you feel the same as I

I know you’d never tell me a lie

I can count on you until the end

On that I can depend.
