Poem about a deal with the Devil gone bad |
| THE DEVIL'S TUNE It's boarded now With steel and wood No one can enter in Though many years Have since gone by There's evil still within It was a place for movies For pleasure and for fun Until a man who wanted fame Did what should not be done To make a famous movie He made The Devil's deal He would be famous Rich, a star His son Satan would steal His movie opened in that place Now shut with chains for ties The Devil came to see the film And to take his prize But the son was not among those In the audience that night "You've cheated me" Yelled Satan "I'll take them all for spite" Strange music filled the theater But no one lived to tell For every single person there dissolved in music's spell The Devil took them all that night With music made in Hell |
