Poem about salmon fishing. |
When Fish Fly Soaring eagles, spreading wings, catch the wind, Diving low to meet the glistening rays of light. Thrashing fish, churning waves upon the water Meet the talons of the eagles, fish take flight. Fishermen, rods in hand, cast their lines To the fish with shiny skin like rays of light, Thrashing fish, churning waves upon the water Meet the hooks of fishermen, fish take flight. We all know, fish don’t fly, they just swim, But the salmon is confused, it's no lie. Thrashing fish, churning waves upon the water Swim upstream, just to spawn, then they die. |
