Plot Twist: The bat missing from the collection shows up at the ex’s house. Investigator believes it was too obviously planted, but the police arrest the young man.

Red Herrings:
1. Politician’s personal car was seen parked near the cabin
2. The victim was seen with a man who looked like one of the petty criminals
3. Politician’s wife was seen arguing with the victim
4. A private investigator has been snooping around

Reveal: The victim was not going to the family health clinic/Planned Parenthood for herself because of an unwanted pregnancy by the state senator, but going with the senator’s wife to have a second mammogram. The clinic allows for higher anonymity than the family’s own.
