Lost Freedom

No one comes to see me,
They've hidden me away,
I'm stuck inside a web of lies
And I can't seem to break free.

I force myself to smile,
To fill the emptiness inside
But nothing can hide the fact
That I'm hollow deep within.

Plain white walls surround me
Every night and day
I can't even walk to the door
Before they chase me down.

Nothing's like it used to be
Nothing 's what it seems
Everything keeps changing
I can't seem to keep up.

Yesterday was such a breeze
Today I can't even stand
I'm getting older every minute
And it's getting so much colder.

No one comes to see me,
They've hidden me away
I'm just waiting for a sign
That will set me free.
