Could I trust in You?

Talking to God the Father. Going between believe and distrust.

Could I trust in You?

I have made You promise me
for many things in several occasions of my life
Some are heard and answered
I was glad and elated
So I believe in You
But at times and many circumstances
I waver, concerning Your promise
I depend on my own insights
Not fully convinced that You have heard my cry for help
I was made to convince that You didn't want to answer me
At Your infinite wisdom
Or that
You may not be even there for me
As I read about You
I found my faith coming back to You
If You have always been here for me
Acknowledge me
As I have acknowledge You
that's why my prayer to You
As You have said
Ask in Your Name and I will receive and that my joy may be full
