No matter the dark, there is always light.

See these glittering stars at the tip of my pointing finger?
They hold less importance than yourself
Yes, they twinkle and wink and are precious, especially when they linger
But what makes them adored can be replicated and stocked on any shelf

Your magic resides down here, below the clouds, in everything you think and do
You may not be a star in space, but you are a star of Earth
Just as you gaze at and envy the stars above, they gaze back and envy you
Now simmer down star child, and recognize your worth

Stand your ground human-star and burn as the stars do above
Do not wish for another life, or a different set of eyes
What you possess is so pure, whiter than any dove
Do not dare think that you are void or fill your head with more lies

Now dry your eyes, and remember to breathe, especially when life is airtight like a glass jar
